Two weeks ago, i went to Plaza Singapura with my parents, and came across a fluff sale. fluff= pillows and bolsters sale. and as if by a miracle, i met this seven-hole micro-fibre pillow, the biggest pillow i'd ever seen, going at $10.20 after an additional 20% discount.

upright, it is almost half my height, and across, much fatter than i am. i bought it immediately, and hugged it all the way home on the MRT.

no matter how much i lie on it, it bounces right back. hugging it is like hugging a giant cloud. putting my head on it feels like i'm floating. i affectionately named it the Nimbus Cloud.

it was getting exhorbitantly hot lately, so i brought it over to the air-con room last night... and it shrunk! my poor nimbus, wat had i done to you~?! i am now looking for the cure; i shall slowly nurse it back to health and full size again. and then it'll once again be the Nimbus that i love.

quote from mom: "had you ever heard of depreciation?"

quote from dr. tan, o/w known as dad: "the reason why the pillow shrunk is coz... (xueqi zoned out)"

mom: "i don't think she wants to know the reason. just tell her how to get it big again, or tell her to give up hope."

Microfibre shrinks? That's weird. I thought it was not supposed to shrink, even when washed. Maybe that's why it was so cheap. If microfibre shrinks in air-con rooms, what of cold countries? Or maybe this microfibre pillow was manufactured in China, sent through a cool controlled environment, and then put out into the hot surroundings, thus making it bigger. HAHA! Then you cruelly reduced it by throwing it into an air-con room. Anyway, how much did it shrink by?
