its the first week of school~

after the hectic hall freshman orientation camp, cca recruitment drives and the long finished image|reel 06, it was a wonderful change of pace as we enter this tutorial-less week.

except that i've 3 seminars, so school goes on as per a normal school week. and there's no slacking off in content right from the first day, and i'm up to my neck with assignments, cases and readings. its gonna be one hell of a year. and while my finance modules seem highly mathematical and doable, i'm dying with the IT module.

to summarise the week, monday was accounting lecture day. i so hate accounting.

tuesday we were taught matrices all over again. simple a-level stuff, except that our group had to do and present like 10 questions that go: find A(2A-3B), where A and B are 3x3 matrices. and after tearing out our hair trying to finish it before our turn, the tutor decided  to stop the class just before our presentation. its good since we didn't manage to finish. but oh so disappointing. i think that experience bonded our group really well.

wednesday was national day and i stayed back in hall as my bf left me all alone to rot in my room with my textbooks and assignments while he drove back home on monday and decided to skip his tuesday classes. and my day ended too late on tuesday for me to bother taking the 2 hour ride back to tampines for a day.

thursday was IT. 4 hours of drawing diagrams which really just screws your brain up into little knots. felt really fulfilled after that, but i'm still groupless for my project. *cries*

friday was invesments, a really fun class. the tutor had a really round head. exchange students included vietnamese, indon, chinese, french, italian, netherland-an and an uzbekistani. we had to skip through most of the lecture though, as the tutor spent too much time joking around with us. haha. 

now, time for excuses.

i've not been blogging for a long while. coz it was hall foc. it wasn't that i was too busy/tired to blog yo~ its just that so much happened during the foc i just didn't know where to start.

i've written a few drafts on tabulas, but none seemed fitting enough for such an action-packed camp. to summarise the camp in a few key words in chronological order:

banner painting. games. mealworms fried with butter and xo. throwing squids. dumping mud. blindfolds. initiation. bananas, coins and toilet bowl. slide down hill. underground canal. more games. broke-back-mountain. amazing race. kallang. geylang. on foot(all the way from school yo~). changi hospital. chalets. sentosa. clubbing. death.

hai~ going back to studying yo~ 

i'm really sick. well, i was really sick.

had a sore throat on saturday night, and woke up sunday with a running nose and a slight fever. nevertheless, i hauled my ass off to a SIGGRAPH meeting at Orchard at 1030.

it was my boss's bday, so we went to buy an oreo cheesecake to celebrate, and just one tiny bite of the cake for formality's sake killed me. midway through the meeting i was burning up and my head was throbbing. towards the end my eyes were all watery, and it felt like my head was being squeezed by two pressure pumps, i was burning up, and i thought i was gonna faint and and get wheeled off to the hospital all over again.

when i reached home again, i cancelled my marche outing (sigh, i've never been to marche even once in my life -___-), and decided to skip my monday lecture to just rest up and recuperate in time for tuesday's seminar. especially since i'd already spent 2 hours doing my assignment for that class. grrr.

so i slept the whole day. and i'm feeling lots better now, just that i've still got a persistent running nose and headache. but the fever's gone! :D

sigh, going back to sleep again. its so boring.... plus the only thing i've got for entertainment is my tamagotchi and my textbook which i so do not want to read. *cries*

ironically, after all that sleeping, i've still got really really black eyebags. 

the combined efforts of an uncooperative bitorrent download and a stupid female lead in my favourite manga series has resulted in my super grumpiness for today.

i'm reading online, so there's a pretty darn long time before each page loads. and i'm getting pretty frustrated with myself as well, as i'm caught in the dilemna of having to decide whether to just chuck that stupid website out of my favourites list and throw that darn girl out together with the series or just stick around to finish wat i started collecting.  

...yay... pretty good ending to the manga, so i'm quite happy now.

just... the stupid bitorrent!!!!!
